1. Data We Collect
We collect: your email address, profile information (nickname, gender, bio, interests, photos), location data (only when you opt in), and usage data.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to: match you with nearby users, enable messaging, personalize your experience, and improve our service.
3. Location Data
Location data is only collected when you explicitly enable it. We do not track your location in the background. Your precise location is never shared with other users; only an approximate area is displayed.
4. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure. Photos are stored in secure cloud storage.
5. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under GDPR, you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion of your data, restrict processing, and data portability. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data (profile, photos, messages, location history) is permanently removed.
7. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: Supabase (authentication & data), Vercel (hosting), CARTO/OpenStreetMap (map tiles). These services have their own privacy policies.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies only (authentication session). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
